Shotty, if you'd listen to the last part of the podcast he clearly states that it is the developer that creates the content and Activision that either says green light, go, or red light, do create something else. Of course Activision can be behind this, but I'm leaning more towards that it is the CEO of Infinity Ward that decided to do this.

There is one big but!! Treyarch has a contract with Activision about the call of duty series.
Hopefully they wont do the same thing that IW did. Because dont forget, it was activision who whas behind the whole NO DEDICATED servers.
